Artwork for Reynante Martinez’s Christmas Competition! Took awhile to get looking right but in the end it turned out alright. Learned new methods for creating stylized hair and texturing clothing! I considered using blender 2.8 but its just not quit feature complete yet with bugs all over the texturing side of it. So I stuck with good old 2.79

I like the lighting! If you don’t mind me asking, how did you model the hair?

Yeah no problem 
. Overall I used bevelled curves and adjusted the tilt and scale of them in edit mode. You can find some of the methods I used in this great tutorial by pancake_manicure. But what I really like about it is some of the ways he made the material which I didn’t have much knowledge about beforehand.
