I’m trying to design a texture for a holo-computer screen similar to those in games like Mass Effect and Dead Space and having just a horrible time of it. If anyone knows where I can find tutorials on achieving an effect like that or where I can find general textures like that please tell me. I am a complete beginner when it comes to photoshop.
I am not entirely sure what the effect you are looking for is, but what about using volumetrics? I find they have a sort of ethereal quality.
