Hello,
I started working on a home office scene which I have organized in smaller parts to keep me motivated for a longer time. I think my lack of oranization was the main reason I failed with my other projects. (I will also start another project with a complete different subject in case I get bored of this one)
I already finished the desk + container, the lamp, and the speakers.
o Desk
o Lamp
o Speakers
x PC
x PC Peripherals (mouse, keyboard etc.)
o PC Monitor
x Stuff to make the scene look lived in ( pencils, books, etc)
o Office Chair
o Radiators
o Window + Door
o Room
hey olle,
unfortunately I cant give you a satisfying answer.
I used 8k Samples for this image.
I havent looked into much optimizing yet.
What I have done is using a light portal for the window, and using filmic blender to be able to increase the strength of the light source ( but I am not sure if this decreased the noise)
Agree. Those models are awesome, you really know what you’re doing! The folds may be a bit too much, but I would rather wait for a render of the chair, it might not look so bad at all…
Hey Scalix, what an honor to hear that from you, I was really impressed by your Mazda WIP thread.
I finished the chair now, and I think the folds are OK for now, next time I’ll know what not to do in MD.
I also merged the overlapping vertices which makes the chair look like its made out of one piece of cloth, need to fix that too.
So Here is a small new update.
Some minor changes of the room layout, not final yet.
Also added some details, I’m starting to add stuff to make the scene lived in.
