I made this hoodie for my next personal project. What do you think?
Made with Marvelous, Substance and Blender. Rendered with Cycles
Please give me your thoughts, thank you!
So cool! How did you achieve keeping so much detail when importing the obj from marvelous to blender?
I tried to use it to model some clothing, but it only crawls up my character’s chin or ass when it gets close enough, so I can’t see him wearing it. The collision algorithm could use some enhancement.
I also like 3D graphic hoodies design here. It’s probably also useful for stuff that don’t wrap around each other. Mattresses, pillows, flags, and other similar items are available.
This looks really good, marvelous was always difficult to me to master. This is very nit picky but thought I could give you one thing to work on. In the close up of the hood I noticed only one side had stiches and this might just be a personal preference but I think I’d like to see the stiches a little larger? I really like this though and you did an amazing job!
Thank you @Mehwish21 (And sorry for the late response).
First I imported the obj to zBrush to do the cleanup of the geometry and fix clipping problems, I ended up with a mesh with lower geometry and I projected it from the one I exported from Marvelous. At the end all I had to do is export a low poly version with its generated maps from zbrush (Normal and displacement maps). The rest is just Substance painter.
I hope it helps!
So true @kickkickC I rendered the hoodie and I didn’t notice that stitch problems haha Thanks for your comment!
