Last year I saw and captured a video footage of a hornet, among its peers, dumping apple foodstuff down a leaf, puzzling me.
So, I’ve drawn 72 frames of rotoscopy animation, to add futility to futility, and use it to test a shader I’ve made inspired by Tete au Carré 's collages on instagram (based on visual information repackaging).

In the shader, I’ve also used a smidge of a modified Joey’s Carlino ASCII shader available on Gumroad, but most of the spaghetti soup is mine.
I’ve also tried to make part of the coloring procedural, by using geonodes to extract RGB “brushstrokes”, and “scrawling” “brushstrokes” guided by various values of the original footage, in geonodes, but ended using the output sparingly.
