This is my second ever archviz project and my first custom archviz project, I would like to know what to improve.
You are lacking a focus. In my opinion to make “meaningful” archviz you need to set youself apart and tell a story. This looks generic and boring.
This all depends on outcome you are looking for of course. This would be fine for a quick meeting with a developer etc. showing the model and the layout. Giving a quick sense of scale. For someone looking to buy a luxery house etc. I would expect something more.
The lighting looks dull. The house looks unocupied. The camera angle is uninspiring.
What makes the architecture uniuqe in this instance? - Focus on that. A detail that you find awesome in your project.
- If i were to do this i would lower the camera to at least eye height.
- Move the camera back, so you get some branches in the foreground.
- Rotate the lighting so you get more contrast with the shadows.
- Give it a bit of haze/dew
My comment might come of as a bit harsh, but the technical parts look fine. That is all fine.
And im just a stranger in the internet. Take what advice you want. I hope that you find some of it useful
Thanks for a honest review, I focused the most on the modeling as I always do, but I’m not really good at other things. Thanks for giving me some suggestions what to improve, I know it would be mostly the lightning and composition of the scene
As mentioned above, lower the camera, it could be even lower than 1 meter, and put something in the foreground, maybe a tree to the right and a lower bush to the left.
The light should NEVER come from behind the camera, as a starting point either 30-40 degrees from the left of the camera, or from the right. Just think of what part of the building you want to light more.
And put something in the wintergarden, and something outside in front of the wintergarden.
I guess if you fix the lighting the picture would look much better instantly.
