How can I set up automatic camera UV projection with geo nodes

Hello! So what i want is to be able to edit my mesh that is placed under the camera and have automatic UV projection from that camera using geometry nodes modifier. The mesh is always flat and won’t be moved from under the camera. So must be pretty simple thing to do, but I’m still new to geometry nodes and couldn’t find any info on how to achieve it.

Example of set up:


Ideally would be to transform mesh into UV based on its coordinates on x,y dimensions without involving any camera.

The UV project modifier already dod that, is there a particular reason why you’d like to recreate it in Geometry Nodes ?

On the overall it’s probably not that complex, but a bit of vector math, and I’m not sure how to handle the field of view of the camera…

Basically it’s either someone already did it and can share some hints, or they’ll have to do all the experiments for you…

On my side, it looks like a fun challenge to practice but I don’t have enough time to start looking into it !
