In 2.8, how can I share an object’s UV with other similar objects? I guess I could just duplicate the one I already have completed, but this is still useful to know for in the future. I have one UV set up against an image - the crust of some bread - but I don’t want to have to unwrap and resize parts of the UV again for the other slices I have.
If the objects are topologically identical, you can select destination mesh, shift select source mesh, ctrl-L->transfer UV maps.
If they’re not, you have to use a data transfer modifier, which doesn’t necessarily work very well.
