I made me a video in case I inevitably forget how to use Blender’s confusing audio controls.
The YouTube link
It answers and asks questions that include…
-Can the IPO curve control panning? If so, how?
-How do I assign stuff to different channels?
-I found out that a track is moved by holding down the RMB, positioning it, and then putting it into place by releasing the RMB and clicking the LMB.
-Scrubbing is glitchy. When I scrub at an even pace, it plays in short, intermittant sections. And then Blender froze and I had to close out of it.
-What is Fac short for in the IPO curve? Factor channel?
-How do you select individual IPO control nodes? Hit the TAB key, then RMB hold the node you want to move. Release RMB and click LMB to stick it in place.
-Is there an HK for undo?
-To select and move all the IPO nodes, turn off the Bezier curves: hit the TAB key if they’re on. Hit the A key to select all nodes. Do the normal RMB move, LMB drop thing.
-What is the difference between the time line numbers at the top, middle, and lower middle window time lines?
-The top one corresponds to a percentage of the track: 0 is start, 100 is end, and 50 is whatever is halfway through the track. Is there a way to switch it to global (like 1’30" is the same regardless of track)?
-The Render button on the bottom window in Output will tell you where the audio mixdown is outputted.
