I do not fully understand what you want…from the example you are using a custom preset of Steps, this is what you would get if the setting were changed and the same edges selected…
I don’t think that is what you want…
You can try other Width Types: like Percent - it should cover a percentage of all the available space.
As usual, before working with Bevel, don’t forget to Apply Scale to get correct widths.

I added a loop cut and worked now thank you for the help.
You can create shapes by editing curves in Custom.
Addon with the same function is also easier to use.

can I ask one more question how can I change the menu size I can’t click/drag the last point in the profile.
You can not adjust the first and last point. they represent the start and end of the bevel.
The bevel width sets where they are.
