How do I get norm to different slots?

Hello,

I had UV mapping with norm or bump mapping selected but the other slots are also bumpmapped as well, I thought it looked very strange.
I read in another tutorial that you use it with just a plane from sideways but I could Imagine that on different slots in would be more advanced, if it
is so far allready of course.

With Image textures you can black out the parts where you don’t want Nor (bump) mapping.

Or you could use Stencils:
