Hey! Kinda new here, so hope this question isn’t badly formatted.
I have been doing some test renders of my first attempt at animation, but I keep getting black lines on parts of the model like this one:
However, on another frame this line is absent:
Tried recalculating normals, but it ends up still producing black lines on some of the renders.
Has someone else have the same thing happen? How did you fix it?
Edit: Here’s another more clear line going over the model:

Check your vertices. Maybe some vertices duplicated or not merged.
Checked the vertices, but there are no duplicates/unmerged vertices close to eachother in the areas where the lines appear.
Also when I toggle viewport shading the lines don’t appear, even though the render of the same frame has the lines.
Maybe it’s something that gets added during the render?
Found out that the line on the third image was caused by cloud volumes intersecting eachother in front of it, causing that line.
I do not yet know what causes the line on the first picture, but found a more clear line in a newer render I did:
This line also does not show up in any other viewmodes except the rendered view:
I clipped inside the model and there’s apparently light seeping through the edges of the faces the lines appear on:
Anyone know what causes this? I think that whatever causes this also causes the black lines on the exterior of the model.
