How do I make this model?

Please help me make this model, I tried particle system but it doesn’t work too well.

This is a quick geometry nodes implementation of something like this.
The bar petals should probably be rotated slightly (randomly) around their longitudinal axis…
and they should be curved slightly (randomly)…
but getting into all that would make the geometry-nodes implementation less clear.

I think you mistook “I failed to make it work well” with “it doesn’t work too well”. Why is the distinction important? Well, if it doesn’t work, you cannot do much, if you failed, you can try again until you succeed.
