How do I make this mouth?

Hi there,

I’ve been trying to make the character Vince from the 1998 BBC show Rex the Runt (some of you may have heard of it. I’ve made the body, eyes and teeth, they were pretty easy, but I’m not sure how to make his mouth. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this, please?

Is the mouth going to animate so you can make him talk or are you just making the model for still or something? Depending on what you plan on doing with it would effect the techiques you’d use.

I just wanted to make a still model.

you could pull a line of edges inward towards the mesh to make a small grove then pull the faces above it down a little to over lap. You could make the teeth separately and just place them where you want. It would be easy to use the sculpt tool to make it as well but that may be overkill. Hope that helps somewhat.
