How do I make "wires" connect from object to object?

Hi,

I’ve been wondering how I could make a wire, rope, string etc. connect from one object to another. For reference to understand what I’m trying to replicate, here is a video. https://youtu.be/9h9pHeEuZwY?t=11

In they hit a long note in the video, the wire connects from the note to the gun. That is the effect I am wanting to achieve in my own game.

@BluePrintRandom lol? He didnt mean objects as linking them together for logic bricks etc.

you make a plane, with 1 bu length set origin at bottom. grab distance from gun to node, add the plane with orientation from gun to node then scale plane by that distance.

Is it possible to reduce the gap between fast moving objects?
