Yes, it is that difficult to edit the rotation ipo [along one axis] to go from 0 to 3600000 over a number of frames. But I’ll give it a try.
Instead of cyclic, try setting the extend mode to extrapolation. Add keyframes to both sides of the ipo and set the y value to zero so that they don’t rotate until the desired keyframe range is reached. Also, change the node type to peak by pressing the v key so that the IPO curve looks like a single right triangular peak.
