How do I select this row of faces?

I’m trying to use alt+select to try to select a row of faces.

However, I keep selecting the orange highlighted faces instead.
how would I select the faces going in the direction of the blue arrows?

Alt click on the vertical edge of one of the faces. Should work. :slight_smile:

You need to select closer to the direction of the edge loop you want to select.
BTW you can only select edge loops with alt+select that are quads.

How are you doing it? Because I just tested it again, in 3.12 and 4.0 to be sure, and it worked for me.

While holding ATL, I right clicked where the cursor is.
