How do I texture items for Unity W/OUT lights/shading?

I see their are a few ways.
I’m using blender 2.75.
I need to texture items WITHOUT lights and shadows, and have the items clear and not dark/hard to see.
Could someone walk me through it or make a small video?

Are you talking about painting your object using texture paint as in your other thread you are talking about baking textures without lights.
Set the viewport shading to Solid or in the objects material settings enable ‘shadeless’
