When I change color in a group of objects, why does it change the colors in all the groups like their all linked together? I may want to change colors in one group but something seems to link or effect other groups. I did the FBX objects in Gravity Sketch in red and blue and want to change colors in Blender.
The only and last option is to change the colors in Gravity Sketch then export to FBX.
You screencapture indicates that same material is used by 2791 objects.
You just have to click on this number to make material unique for active object and be able to give a unique color to it.
To link same material to a selection of several objects, you have to select them.
Last object individually selected is active object. Its material will be linked to other objects of selection when using following operator : Object menu > Link/Transfer Data > Link Materials
