how do you turn off that zooming in gets very very very slow?

I have a pretty big project with lots of small models but if I try to zoom in so I can change some details that’s kinda impossible because I actually can’t zoom in further. how do I turn this off?

Seems you are in perspective mode.
Press Numpad 5 which puts you into orthographic mode. Here you can zoom in.
With Numpad . (dot) you can frame the selected object(s), then go into perspective mode again if you wish…
