How I can modeling this type of mesh

Hi all,

How I can modeling this kind of mesh with this smooth in corner ?
I try the curve modifier but it’s messy. Try with more loop cuts also. But not very good.

you could try bevels:

  1. add bevel weight to these edges

  2. add a bevel modifier with a custom profile

  3. add these edges to a vertex group (thin blue lines only, not the ones with a bevel weight):

  4. add another bevel modifier

To add on to @LordoftheFleas 's answer, in the last step you can also add some edge loops that are aligned with the corners, like this.

Then, you can bevel the corner loop in “percent” mode and it will conform to a perfect 90 degree section, using the 2 aligned loops as limits.

This topology may be better suited, as it allows you to have different vertex groups for the inner and outer edges, with bevels of different radii:

Working again on topology and incorporating @etn249 's approach:

  1. use edge loops to define the corners and use bevel weights on the highlighted edges

  2. use vertex groups on these edges:

  3. use 2 percentage bevels:

  4. adjust the corner edge loops afterwards if necessary:

Maybe silly question @LordoftheFleas how do you model the “cube” i use shear for the 45° angle, and loop cut I add after have the angle of the shear, i have to do replace vertex by hand. So i think they exist a more friendly method ?

My idea is to model by extruding cubes of even size. The diagonal edge is made by splitting the corner using the knife tool.

Then, if you need to add extra edge loops anywhere, it will be very easy because the corner is isolated in its own section and any loop you add will be immediately aligned. Then, you can dissolve any edge that’s not needed.
