I understand blender ge uses cameras and scenes. How is this inventory menu overlayed onto the camera. Do you just point the camera at another object or is there away to control what the camera sees through layering.
You can use second camera for GUI / HUD, and choose it in Add Overlay Collection
actuator on the main camera. This way it will be layered on top of everything else.
thanks master coffeesemapi, your knowledge will not go undeserved.
I was looking at older tutorials and this function use to be in the scene actuator. is it now they changed it to be in collections.
It’s actuator. It’s called Add Overlay Collection
and you need to choose target collection as one of it’s parameters.
