With Blender 3.6 around the corner, how often are UPBGE nightly builds released? 0.35 was the last released build, so I am a little curious to know how long UPBGE takes before it gets a nightly build to the latest version of Blender.
The current latest stable version is 0.30, and has been since 2020 or 2021.
I am no app developer, but I am just curious to know. The goal would be to go from Alpha to Beta to full wouldn’t it? A full release (seems very far into the future) would be 1.0, wouldn’t it be?
olo

i tried to enable ‘logic nodes+’ because i did not found ‘logic nodes editor’ in editor type
might be i am missing something completely here, not sure …
anyway, there is an error report by blender
That’s why I use Logic Bricks & Python. “Bricky Nodes” or Logic Brick Nodes aren’t quite coded correctly, and can break. Logic bricks and Python I have had almost 3 decades of experience with Blender, starting with 2.45 on the GE. I will never leave UPBGE, it is open-source, does not charge anything, and I view it as a pro-consumer choice, even if it lacks modern features of other game engines and has the occasional crash. I have always loved UPBGE & Blender.
I checked the developmental releases, and there is still no macOS version of UPBGE 0.4.1+, but there is a Windows build and a Linux build available. Since I use macOS, it seems I have to wait.
I hope someday that Blender and UPBGE get notarised (verified) for Apple devices so we don’t have to deal with GateKeeper, which currently thinks Blender/UPBGE is “dangerous” when it really isn’t.
I did hear somewhere that UPBGE 0.4+ will be a stable release in March, but I cannot really verify this.
