How secure is stand alone BGE game?

Hey all,

Now I know that any game can be hacked and broken, but I was wondering how secure and encapsulated a BGE created game is.

Would it be sensible, for example, if a commercial game was to be created, to add your own security to the code some where. Say some encryption here and there. Or is that just over kill? :spin:

I’m talking about a stand alone game here rather than one in just a .blend file. Obviously. :rolleyes:

It is easy enough to extract the blend file from the stand-alone runtime, so it’s not very secure. Encryption/hashing can be used; I just posted on this topic here:wink:
