You can start like this using 2 curves one Bezier for the stalk and a curve circle for the profile. Adjust the curve circle to have an interesting shape…
Form the vine with something like this, and add greater detail in a material bump/displacement…
Thanks but the Vine itself is not the problem, nor the leaves. There are parts of the skin stripping and curling away.
I thought maybe once meshed separate into sections and extract then bend, but not sure how to do this.
