I watched a Lynda tutorial on Blender where they added a UV texture map using nodes. I took good notes, with screenshots, on how it was done. However it doesn’t seem to work this way when I go to try it myself. I think something changed in a version update?
The nodes are different than how they are in my screenshots. Also, when I go to Add > Image Texture, there is not an option called this. There is a texture option but it does not look the same and it does not have an “open” option.
Below is a screenshot of my notes from the Lynda tutorial, can someone explain where I am going wrong and why my Blender doesn’t function like my notes?
PS: I added to check “use nodes” myself. I don’t think that was in Lynda either.
