thank you

Hi,

May you drop your blend file?

Did you actually read about what baking is ? In the Manual for example ?? You may re-research this topic…

Bakeing is essenetially pre-computing and “catching the light” of your actual object in your scene. Mostly for perfomance reasons or because some real-time renderer is incapable of doing so…

…so if you want to have some “equal light” then you have to:

  • light you scene “equally”… ( for example only with a sphere with an emmission shader centered to your object and “including” your whole scene ) … or…
  • disable the lights and increase the emmisson of all of your materials…

But usually baking is used to “freeze” some shadows or ambient occlusion… maybe even some reflection of the actual scene if the object is used only in that scene (reason… see above).

It also seems to be that you are using a HDRI for the lighting ? So you got the reflections of this image onto your object…

…so your bake does exactly what you did set it up for…

Again:

Direct must also be disabled to extract only colors.

I’d rather suggest you to remove your personal email from the free access.

I just checked your model, but didn’t find any nodes.

hi goorman , file even after zip is 17mb. its not attaching.

You may drop it on google drive, if you wish.

Something like this one?

If so, follow these steps below:

  1. Create a new Image Texture node and call it “Metal Glossy”. Make sure that its Color Space is RGB:

  1. In your Bake settings, switch from Diffuse to Glossy:

  1. Select sequentially first your object and then Metal Glossy image node you’ve just created in Step №1,

  2. Press “Bake”,

  3. Here you go, you should get something like this right down below:

Hope that helps

Cheers,
Sergey

There’s nothing from Diffuse, so Bake came out in black
Like images, you can preview each element in a rendering preview.
