Hi , I am moving from old blender to new blender and looking for some help ,I’m wondering how I can make the floor grid the same in the new blender as it is in older blender like 2.7

… i’m afraid it is now infinite… no size… if you need this then you may add a grid with viewport display set to wire and restriction toggle (top right in the outliner) enabled so that it’s selection could be disabled…

Yep. Another possibility is to set the Viewport’s Clip End in the Sidebar (N-panel) > View tab:
Above’s the default 1000 m in 3.4.1, the Blender Light theme preset. With it set to 100 m:
If you use this method, keep in mind it applies to everything in the Viewport, not just the floor grid – if you zoom your View out farther than 100 meters you won’t be able to see what’s at 0-0-0.
