Sure it’s a big help to be able to see where those bones are, but sometimes having them half-transparent would help even more. I hope there’s a way

At least for now, I found that changing the bones’ drawtype to “wire” does a pretty descent job. To do it, I switched to Object mode, then I went to the Object panel, in the Draw tab, under Drawtype, wire.
i mostly use sticks and custom shapes, with bone layers to hide unnecessary bones, or bones that I am not working with.
