- engulfing an object around them
- with abstract swirling motion
- while creating a magical path

Doubt I could do it, but that just screams Geometry Nodes (especially with the new simulation nodes) and likely a whole bunch of multi-layer compositing.
Or just do it how they did, which I suspect was with Houdini…
