Does anyone know how to acchieve something like this
with geo-nodes?
The bounds or edge loops of the underlying 3D mesh
(here in black) functions as a guide for a new Curve Mesh (here in red),
then by changing the offset distance of the curve from mesh bounds should slide on the 3D mesh (black) surface
The same goes for holes in the 3D mesh with the offset within the curve mesh.
So the Idea is:
I select the bounds or specialized edge selection and use this for create the curve and than slide offset inside the surface like face inset in Edit mode.
How is it possible? Would be nice if someone can get back to me!
