How to create sand bumps while object moving through the surface?

I want to create a bump on the sand surface as an object travels partially on the surface. Just like image attach below, also check this old video reference at time 1.27 Anchor Animation Video.

I tried dynamic paint but I don’t know much about how to create these bumps using dynamic paint…

Try this, if you want to make a bump instead of indentation then try setting Dynamic Paint > Canvas > Surface > Displace Factor to -1.
