How to deform geometry with a curve in geometry nodes (similar to an armature)?

I’d like to deform part of a character’s mesh with a curve. I can project the geometry with a ray cast node, but the geo slides over the curve (curve to mesh, actually) instead of transforming with it (with an offset). Is there a way to do this in geometry nodes?
