How to discover how much RAM Cycles is using (CPU)

Hi Guys,

I’m about to buy a videocard and I know that if I buy a videocard with low vRAM and try to render a big scene, Cycles will crash. So, i’m trying to find how much RAM Blender uses when render to see if its worth buy a videocard or invest in a better CPU. Can you guys help me?

Hi, you have a peak prompt in render window showing the ram usage, it is may a bit more in reality.
This is same value in video cards/VRAM.
