I made some mesh objects resembling letters. Now I put them side by side, to come up with a word but, i want to make their spacing equal in between. How can I do this? And is there a feature like making bottom left corner its origin so that I can easily snap all of their bottom left corners to the grid?
There is no automated way t place your letters evenly spaced. You can of course place them so that all have a distance of some specific value to each other but that might not look good.
It probably makes sense to go look at a couple of (non Blender specific but general) font design tutorials.
As for changing the origin: In the viewports top right corner there is a drop down menu. Here you can select “Affect only origins” to move your objects origin. Or with your object selected you can go to
Object → Set Origin
and use one of the options to snap your origin, for example, to the 3D cursor.
You can add the extension Distribute, go to Preferences, and find it in the Extensions tab…click install
Alternatively, you can use the Mesh Align Plus extension, it has a distribute feature as well.
