I have a texture of an electronic diagram over a mesh plane. I need to put in the same scene a magnifying glass, I could model the magnifying glass, but… how actually I do the effect of magnifying glass optic effect??? I need to made this for the presentation of a project, I am desperate. Thank you for ideas.
For the material for the glass turn on RayTransp. IOR (index of refraction) is what will get that effect. I believe glass’ IOR is 1.52. Here is an example form the WikiBooks: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Every_Material_Known_to_Man/Glass.
