How to get particles with molecular addon to behave naturally?

Hi all. See this post in Stack Exchange:

I’m trying to create dirt particles that behave like rigid bodies (hence molecular addon) and can react to other rigid bodies in my scene. I also want the dirt to behave like normal dirt, but I’m running into an issue where the particles are very jittery: they bounce around each other, even with a high dampening factor, and they won’t settle or stand still. Does anyone know what I’m perhaps doing wrong, or how to create particles with Molecular addon that behave like natural dirt that settles and remains still?
