I’m trying to get a cartoon style in my render. My render looks fine on close objects however the farther my objects get from the camera the more jagged the shadows become. I tried playing will all the light parameters but it doesn’t make a difference. I’ve included a screen shot and the file.
I’d like the shadows to have sharp well defined edges through out the whole scene at distance.

Hi, @anon57351764! I’m not sure if you’ve read the manual regarding Eevee’s shadows, but I’ve included a link to the page below for your reference. The short version is that you probably need to increase your Cube Size. This will increase the precision of your shadow map and hopefully get you the sharp shadows you a looking for. Best of luck, and if you are still having issues, let us know!

Thank you, I wasn’t aware of the shadow settings in the render properties. Increasing the cascade size of the my sun lamp to 4096 helped a big deal. It isn’t perfect but very close.
