UV Project actually takes the generated texture proportions of an object, not it’s UV. I normally use an empty to project the textures.
How do you get proportions from an empty? By just adjusting it’s x and y scale?
So, I wonder if what I actually want is the “data transfer” modifier instead, but I can’t find an mention of UVs in its interface.
