How to import a .json file into blender

Hi, my friend made a minecraft texturepack with 3d swords in it. I wanted to import them into Blender for an animation that I’m making but the files are .json files and I can’t import them into Blender. Please help.

Open the addon in a text editor and near the top of the file it will say what version of blender it was written for. Download that version from http://download.blender.org/release/ and try that
