How to import a mesh?

Hi folks,

I’m using Blender 2.23 (Linux) and try to import a mesh into a scene. It doesn’t work. Any hints?

Hit shift-F1 first.
Then go to the mesh section, and click the mesh you need.
Don’t forget the loaded object appears in the same layer as it is in the file where you load from.

When the mesh doesn’t load, try to load the object too, …

When this doesn’t work, use blender 2.22 to load the object.

If I recall well Importing in 2.23 for LINUX is buggy…
