How to install Lives or jashaka in ubuntu ?

i just installed ubuntustudio7.10

but lives and jashaka dont come , so i want to install them

but , how do i install them in ubuntu ?

They might be in the repositories, I’m not sure. For starters, you should enable Universe and Multiverse repositories. To do this, open Synaptic (System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager), enter the root password, and take a look at the screen. Then, click Software Sources (or something to that effect) and check Universe and Multiverse, and Apply.

Now, you can Search from within Synaptic to see if there is a package for Lives and Jashaka. If you find them, click the box by their names, Mark for Installation, and Apply. Then you’re done! If not, you’ll need to download them from SourceForge.
