How to make edges smoother without connecting two meshes?

So let’s say I have a retopologized face mesh and rays (rays are saved as original curves just in case and as something turned into mesh, I have both options). Rays are arrayed around empty axes in the centre of the scene. How do I connect them to the face (or at least do something to look like it’s connected because rn they obviously look like two separated parts) without losing array modificators or without connecting each one by faces? If there’s no other option than to connect by hand, then how to do it in the most painless way since these are curves and after turning them to mesh a decimating it looks like a total mess?
