How to make high quality 3D text?

So I wanted to make a 3D logo, and I wanted to use a style of 3D text that looks similar to this:


However, I have no clue how to do this in Blender, and if I extrude each letter in edit mode and then scale it, it ends up not looking right. How can I achieve this effect?

Are you importing text from vector graphic format?
Not useful to you using “Add Text”?
Many tutorials on youtube, like this:


You can choose the font from the fonts installed on your system.

Thank you, this helped a lot! I knew how to add in text, and I knew how to change its font, but I didn’t know I could do this.
