How to make it so that you can't keep jumping while in the air

I’ve tried to look around for how to fix this, but couldn’t find anything useful. I’m working with Logic Nodes

Attach a collision to it.

So it will jump only when it also touches something. In the air it doesn’t touch anything, so no jumping.

It doesn’t work, for some reason

This turned out to be enough. If you set the physics to character, the jump makes everything work just right.

I already have it set-up like that, but it doesn’t stop it from being able to jump in the air
