Quick question, how do I go about making lips for my person which I am modeling? I can’t seem to find any tutorials.

Use concentric circles. Lips are meant to be animated and change shape, so if you get the edgeflow right, you’ll have an easier time when trying to warp the mouth shape.
For your googling purposes; most tutorials will call them “mouth” (I expect this would get more hits than “lips”), and you probably want to search for “edgeflow” or “topology”.
