How to make this candy bar animation in Blender?

Hello!
Looking for tutorials in blender that covers something similar to this,

specifically when the candy bar breaks and the Carmel stretches from inside the bar.

Anybody know of any tutorials that are similar?
Thank

Hi @Jahone and welcome to the forum!

That’s kind of an interesting thing, how did he do it? I checked out a few of the videos, and he is using a physics sim to do the caramel effect, I think. Physics sims in blender might be able to do this, if you know how to use them.

Me, I would just model it and animate it. The caramel model would take some work to model it properly. Well all the objects would take time to model… Anyway, I’d just use shapekeys to make the caramel effect, see attached file. Shift-Space Bar to play.

Feel free to ask questions,

Randy

0.0 - 0.02 - Rigidbody fracture animation played backwards, with some particle emission. There was built in addon for Voronoi fracture, the animation itself might be possible with Blender rigidbody physics, but I never touched simulations unfortunately
0.02 - I bet it can be done using an object deformed by curve, and keyframing curve points using Hook modifier
0.05 - Looks like legit fluid simulation, maybe in the end switched to baked mesh object to morph in the logo (shape keys)
0.09 - can be done either using fluid sim or some kind of proximity based deformation in Geometry nodes (second will be less resource demanding)
0.11 I’d do it with armature deform (perhaps curve deform) and shapekeys

you can use this assets tutorial from youtube to make that the caramel/chocolate sticky on the candy bar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm5KVAXnJjU.
for the model candy bar you can use a cube and setting with a displace cloud setting
