Hello, does anybody have any ideas how to do this thing (I am talking about propeller) ? I pressume that with simple deform and twisting (saw it on youtube), I have tried this but it is not really precise and mesh in the end looks too screwed.
I saw it but I need more down twisted, I know how to twist it to some extent but don’t know how to deform it after and keep it being smooth and keeping shape (I hope you undersood me)
For the shape in your image (looks like a drill), the screw modifier would be the easiest.
Might have to combine it with a few other modifiers to get thickness and add the teeth.
Looking at it more closely, you could extrude an edge from the outer ring to the inner. Add a bunch of edge loops to that face. Turn on Proportional Editing and turn on Connected Only. Rotate the last edge as needed. Move the middle as needed. It’s more or less what @GrimZA did, just in step by step format instead
Damm you … because of this mind bending sketch looked interesting and while i found some better reference and played with it
you literatly reengineered it…
