How to play just-rendered animation in 2.5?

Sorry for this dumb question :o but… In 2.52 I have just finished rendering an animation, but now how do I play it back? In Blender 2.4x I just pressed the ‘Play’ button on the Anim tab and it popped up in a new window so I could watch the rendered animation. In 2.52, in a Timeline window, I wnet to the Playback menu and selected “Image editors” and “Sequence editors” etc., pressed Ctrl+F11… but the animation never ‘appears’ anywhere. Is it supposed to, and if so how / where?

I am an experienced 2.4x user but have only being following 2.5 developments on and off… :o

It’s Ctrl-F11. You can find it for yourself, if you forget, by pressing space and entering play in the search box.

I had this same problem. Playback is Ctrl-F11, however, it didn’t work with the blender player, I had to switch in the config to the DJV player, and provide the path for the DJV viewer executable.

Aha! So the Blender player doesn’t necessarily work? Guess it might be due to the optimized build I’m using (from graphicall). Thanks guys.
