How to resize a video and keep the Canvas size - Video editor

Hi,

I am new to blender and love it so far but still have a long way to go. I edited a 720 video and now I have to adjust it to 1080x1080 (for instagram feed) size by keeping original ratio and adding white stripes above and below. I managed to create a canvas 1080x1080 and added a white color on it. I places the video on it but know I have to find a way to resize it to 1080 width and proportional height.

Any suggestions?

I figured it out, thanks for the tip :slight_smile:

I marked the crop check mark and then cropped the top and bottom in - values :slight_smile:
